Antiperspirant

An aluminum-based compound that temporarily minimizes sweating by affecting the sweat glands, preventing odor. Small percentages of people are allergic to aluminum and may experience contact dermatitis when exposed to deodorants containing aluminum. Research studies of the American Cancer Society, the National Cancer Institute, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and other institutes found no relationship between breast cancer risk and antiperspirant use.
